The keyboard skin also prevents the keyboard backlight from shining through it, so it needs to be removed if you want to use the laptop in dim light. The seller shipped the laptop with a silicone keyboard skin on it to cover up the wear, so I think this is a bit disingenuous. The case is in mint condition, probably because it was always kept in the plastic shell it was shipped with, however the keys on the keyboard show obvious signs of wear. The MBA was also listed as "Excellent Condition", but it's a little less than so. The two phones were in excellent condition, indistinguishable from brand new. Customer service has been excellent in all cases. The last two were for iPhones and this one was for a 2020 MacBook Air. In fact I’m so happy with my purchase that I came back to Back Market and purchased an Apple Watch for my fiancée to use when she takes pictures since no other company has made a good option for a Bluetooth remote for the iPhone cameras. I didn’t expect it to after reading other buyers reviews. It however did not come in Apple packaging which I’m ok with. It even came with an apple charging block and Apple charging cord.
The battery is 100%, no scratches anywhere, works flawlessly and looks 100% brand new. When I say it does not have even the littlest imperfection I mean it. Let me tell you that Back Market blew my expectations out the water for sure! I received a brand new looking MacBook. I ordered this MacBook Pro M1 in excellent condition expecting the laptop to be just decent being that it’s refurbished.
